Something special is rolling into Wayward Lane Brewing… and we can’t exactly tell you who it is. What we can say is that this is a well-known, nationally touring bluegrass band whose chart-topping albums and festival appearances have made them one of the most talked-about acts in the genre. They’ve shared the stage with legends like Del McCoury, Michael Cleveland, and the Gibson Brothers, and their latest record has notched multiple #1 spots on national charts.

We’re excited to be a part of the 13th Annual Family Farm Day, a county-wide celebration highlighting the amazing farms and producers throughout Schoharie, Otsego, and Delaware Counties. If you’re looking for a fabulous day-trip to see where your food (and beer!) comes from, this is it.

Wayward Lane will be open as usual, and we’re inviting folks to enjoy the space, sip a beer, and take in the farm atmosphere. We’ll be offering farm tours throughout the day, so you can learn more about what we grow and how it all connects to what’s in your glass. No tickets needed—just show up and catch the buzz about local food, farming, and fermentation.

We’ll be pouring some tasty beer at this years 4th annual Wild Acres Festival at Drowned Lands. Come join us and 40 world-class breweries in the Warwick Valley.

The Yankee Holler roots/rock acoustic trio brings their signature sound to every stage they hit in the Capital Region. On Saturday, August 30th, we’re teaming up with the Schoharie Promotional Association to throw an all-day Wayward Luau—a tropical bash packed with music, dancing, games, island eats, and peak summer beer garden energy.

🌺 Live Entertainment
We’re kicking things off at noon, with luau-themed games starting at 2:00pm, hosted by the one and only Cody of Schoharie fame.
At 3:00pm, enjoy a lively Hawaiian dance performance from Dance Fire Studio & Fitness under the shade sails.
Then from 4–7pm, The Red Wagon takes the Summer Stage with their signature rootsy rock fusion—and some surf rock tunes.

BBQ Delights and The Dumpling Wagon will be dishing out Hawaiian specials all day.
Cool off with a tropical Island Iced Tea from Wellington’s,

The Red Wagon can best be described as Rootsy Rock Fusion, melding together various styles of music into an amalgamation of sound. Intertwining Saxophone and Electric Guitar float over a solid, yet fluid, rhythm section, while harmony-laden vocals ring out above the fray. The Red Wagon’s current lineup consists of Dan McBride (Guitar), Chris Scanlan (Sax and Vocals), John Florussen (Drums and Vocals) and Dave Jenkins (Bass and Vocals). Their latest album, Back To The Valley, was released on July 4, 2020 - and is available for streaming or purchase on all major digital media outlets including Spotify, Amazon Music, iTunes and Youtube.

You and a teammate. One tricycle. A timed race that starts inside the brewery and blasts through an outdoor course. Pick your team name. Choose your race song. Then pedal like hell.

We’ll supply the trike—you bring the legs, the laughs, and the glory.
Fastest team of the night wins prizes and eternal bragging rights.

🎬 Fundraiser for the Schoharie River Center

Join us for a lively evening supporting the Schoharie River Center (SRC)—a nonprofit dedicated to environmental education, science, media arts, cultural heritage, and traditional crafts in the Schoharie Creek and Mohawk River watersheds of Central New York.

• Live music from a local band, playing approximately 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

• Film screenings showcasing selections from the Mayfly Film Festival, SRC’s traveling short‑film festival focused on environmental and stewardship themes.

About the Schoharie River Center:

Tomato Fest at Wayward Lane
Join us for a day celebrating all things tomato! We’ll be pouring special Monarca Gold and Schlager Micheladas, serving up tomato-inspired eats from The Dumpling Wagon and Von Salad, and hosting a friendly tomato tasting competition where size, appearance, and flavor will crown the champions.

Catch a live tomato canning demonstration, then stick around for the grand finale—a good-old-fashioned tomato fight (or maybe just tomato tossing, if you’re feeling civilized). Vendors, music, and plenty of summer vibes will round out this deliciously red day at the brewery.

Formed over a decade ago in Fredonia, F.A.R. Trio has spent the last five years captivating audiences across the Northeast with their eclectic mix of original compositions and unique arrangements of songs by artists like John Lennon and The Allman Brothers. Featuring Eamon Rayhn (bass/vocals), Drew Azzinaro (guitar/vocals), and Ethan Fox(drums), this trio blends soulful grooves and jazz fusion to create unforgettable performances.

They’ve performed at top venues like The Bitter End, Rockwood Hall, and the Northwest Jazz Festival, and released two albums—F.A.R. Trio Volume 1 (2019) and Ordinary Moments (2022). Catch them live as they bring their genre-bending sound to Wayward Lane Brewing!

Calling all players, pickers, and performers—Open Jam Night is back and now hosted by Side Effect, a new house band featuring our very own Kyle on drums.

Whether you're looking to sharpen your chops, try out a new tune, or meet fellow musicians to start your next project, this is your chance to plug in and play. Full-band energy, all genres welcome, all experience levels encouraged.

Come solo or roll in with your whole band.
We provide the PA, drum kit, keyboard, guitar & bass amps, and mics for singers and horns. You just bring your instrument (and yes, that includes sticks, drummers).

We’re bringing back the classic fall fun as we launch pumpkins into the Bier Meadow with our trusty trebuchet.
