🚜 Family Farm Day
We’re excited to be a part of the 14th Annual Family Farm Day, a county-wide celebration highlighting the amazing farms and producers throughout Schoharie, Otsego, and Delaware Counties. If you’re looking for a fabulous day trip to see where your food (and beer!) comes from, this is it.
Wayward Lane will be open as usual, and we’re inviting folks to enjoy the space, sip a beer, and take in the farm atmosphere. We’ll be offering farm tours throughout the day so you can learn more about what we grow and how it all connects to what’s in your glass. No tickets needed.
We're also excited to showcase Meadow Rise Farm, one of our spent grain partners. Since the farm won't be open to visitors during Family Farm Day, Evan will be joining us with a whole hog pig roast featuring pork raised just a few miles away in Knox.
We'll round out the day with live music from Northern Ramble from 4-7pm, while Von Salad Traveling Pizza Circus will be here all day slinging pies.

🐖 Pig Roast
Whole Hog Pig Roast with Meadow Rise Farm
If you joined us for our anniversary pig roast earlier this year, you already know what Evan and Meadow Rise Farm are capable of. We're excited to bring them back for Family Farm Day and introduce even more folks to one of Schoharie's great local farms.
Meadow Rise Farm of Knox, NY is one of our spent grain partners, with brewery grain helping feed the pigs raised on their family farm just a few miles away. Using a pasture-based, holistic approach to raising livestock, Evan and his family are producing high-quality pork while creating a direct connection between local farms, local food, and local beer.
While Meadow Rise Farm will not be open to visitors during Family Farm Day, we wanted to find a way to showcase another agricultural business from the Schoharie Valley. Bringing the farm to Wayward felt like the perfect solution.
Evan will once again be roasting a whole hog onsite using a traditional cinder block pit, with the cook beginning the day before and continuing low and slow through the night. The result is pork that highlights the care and attention that goes into raising animals on a small family farm.
Food service details, menu information, and ticket availability will be announced soon.
🎵 Live Music: Northern Ramble
We're excited to welcome Northern Ramble to Wayward Lane for the first time.
Inspired by the music of the Woodstock era, Northern Ramble brings a soulful mix of classic songs from artists like The Band, Bob Dylan, CCR, The Rolling Stones, Willie Nelson, and more, alongside original music from the band. Their sound blends blues, roots rock, and Americana into the kind of laid-back groove that feels right at home on a summer afternoon in the Schoharie Valley.

🌄🎵 Sunset Show: Becca Frame & The Tall Boys + The Red Wagon
This summer we're trying something new.
Our Sunset Shows are all about slowing things down and enjoying a summer evening on the farm. We'll be starting music a little later, stretching into golden hour, and taking in the view of the Summer Stage beneath the sun shade sails as the sun drops behind the hills.
For our first Sunset Show, we're bringing back the Super Show.
It's been a few years since we've hosted one of these collaborative nights, and we're excited to bring the tradition back for a special Sunset Show featuring Becca Frame & The Tall Boys and The Red Wagon.
On their own, these two bands are longtime favorites around the Schoharie Valley and Capital Region. Together, things get even more interesting. Expect a night of roots rock, soul, funk, Americana, soaring harmonies, saxophone, guitar solos, and plenty of musicians crossing over between sets as the evening unfolds.
These shows have always been less about individual bands and more about bringing great musicians together to see what happens. Every Super Show takes on a life of its own, and no two are ever quite the same.
Music runs from 6:30-9:30pm as the sun settles behind the hills and the lights come on around the farm.
