Learn and experience Latin social dancing! Nico & Lucianna will teach you dance steps that will not only be useful for latin music, but for current pop music too!

Class will be held in the Bier Meadow from 6:30 to 7:30pm.

$10/person, $15/couple

A little about Nico & Lucianna:

Nico is a ballroom dance instructor for over a decade teaching private and group classes. He has built confidence in couples and singles to take their journey out onto the dance floor both professionally and/or socially. Nico has created memorable experiences for newlyweds in learning their first dance too. Nico teaches both the social and formal of ballroom, but has really found a love in the art of utilizing dance in day to day life. 

Lucianna began learning Latin dances over a decade ago, and always found teachers and classes to learn from. During college, she attended a ballroom dance class all four years and continued after college taking classes around NJ and Manhattan. Since 2016, as a couple, Lucianna and Nico dance consistently. They love dancing to live music together and enjoy teaching classes to inspire people to love dance too!

The Jazzmanian Devils are the advanced jazz improvisation ensemble at Albany High School comprised of students from grades 9-12. The ensemble performs frequently throughout the greater capital region including at Corning Tower's Observation Deck for NYSUT, the annual My Brother's Keeper Alliance Symposium at the NYS Museum, and the annual NYS PTA Convention at the Saratoga Springs Convention Center to name but a few. Students specialize in performing standards from the "golden era" of jazz to such contemporary artists as Laufey and everything in between. As a highly sought-after ensemble, the band performs well over twenty live performances every school year.

The North & South Dakotas are an original folk & bluegrass band from Upstate, NY.  The five piece band includes Zack Hay (lead vocals and acoustic guitar), Mark Retajczyk electric guitar and supporting vocal), Nayt Patenaude (dobro, mandolin, and suporrting vocal), Colin Hunt (Bass), and Connor Dunn (saxophone).  

From quick pickin' grass tunes, to heartfelt ballads, The Dakotas bring a unique and original energy to the stage.
