Wayward Lane’s Oktoberfest returns Saturday, September 19!

In proper Oktoberfest fashion, we’ll have live polka music, Oktoberfest eats, and an afternoon of steinholding, hammerschlagen, and our annual dirndl & lederhosen contest.

We’re also bringing back the Wayward Oktoberfest Tankard, complete with an all-day beer special when you purchase one. We sold out of these puppies last year, so get yours early. This year’s tankard features the Zeltgeist shield!

Of course, we’ll have a couple of proper lagers to fill them with:

Zeltgeist — 5.5%
A clean, crisp tentbier-inspired lager with bright notes of citrus, honeydew, and wildflowers. The ultimate tent crusher.

Luftschloss — 5.8%
Our Märzen-style lager balancing toasty German malt, noble hops, and a kiss of estate honey.

Tony’s Polka Band will be serenading us from 2–4pm with a lively blend of traditional Eastern European, German, Chicago, and New England-style polkas, plus influences from country, rock, and pop.

Then, at 4:30pm, we’ll dive into our annual Oktoberfest games. Bring your strength, sharpen your hammer accuracy, and break out the dirndls and lederhosen for the showdown. It’s our favorite part of the day.

Alex Von Salad returns with his Würst & Schnitzel fare all day long, joined by The Dumpling Wagon serving up the dumplings you know and love.
