LOGJAMMIN' VI: KEEP THE VIBES GOOD

Logjammin' has always been about good beer, good people, and a community that somehow manages to take lagers very seriously while not taking itself too seriously.

We're bringing people together from all over for a day of great beer, music, and hanging out in a field in the Schoharie Valley. Our goal is simple: create a space where everyone can have a great time and feel comfortable doing it.

Everyone here deserves respect. Guests, volunteers, brewery staff, vendors, musicians, brewery teams, and event partners alike.

A few things that should go without saying, but we'll say them anyway:

• Respecting each other • Looking out for fellow humans • Good vibes and good judgment • Asking before assuming • Listening when somebody says no • Helping create a welcoming environment • Drinking good beer responsibly

What doesn't fly here

• Harassment of any kind • Unwanted touching, comments, or behavior • Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or otherwise hateful behavior • Aggressive, threatening, or intimidating conduct • Repeatedly ignoring someone's boundaries • Treating staff, volunteers, or guests poorly • Using intoxication as an excuse for bad behavior

Being at a beer festival means people are drinking. We get it. But being drunk doesn't suddenly give someone a free pass to make others uncomfortable or act like an idiot.

If you need help

If something feels off, if someone is making you uncomfortable, or if you notice someone else in a situation that doesn't sit right, say something.

Find a Wayward team member, volunteer, or OutsmartNYC staff member.

You don't need to figure it out yourself.

How we'll respond

We'll take concerns seriously.

Sometimes that means checking in. Sometimes that means a conversation. Sometimes that means stepping in immediately. Sometimes that means asking someone to leave.

The response will match the situation.

At the end of the day, we're all here for the same reason: drink great beer, enjoy the day, and head home with stories worth telling.
