Wayward wanderings await

Our brewery might be off the beaten path—but the journey is half the fun.

Places to visit

  • Wiggle Pizza

If you came to a Wayward Wednesday back in 2024, you’ve probably had Wiggle Farm Pizza—and you already know how good it is. They’ve now planted roots on Main Street in Schoharie with their very own spot. Hands down the best pizza Schoharie’s ever seen (though we might be a little biased).

  • Schoharie Kayak Rentals

Looking for a relaxing day on the Schoharie Creek with a couple of Schlagers? Hit up Ross—he’s got everything you need for a day on the water. Canoes available too!

A small, quaint coffee shop just 9 minutes from the brewery. They brew exclusively with NYC’s Oslo Coffee—perfect for all you coffee nerds.

  • Vroman’s Nose

    11min from Wayward

The best view in the valley, all within a short 1.8-mile loop. This gentle trail takes just over an hour and leads to an incredibly flat stone outcrop—sometimes called The Dance Floor. Tag us at the top while busting a move with your favorite Wayward hiking beer!

Just steps from the farm stand, you’ll find 1857 Spirits, where estate-grown potatoes and spring water are transformed into remarkably smooth vodka—crafted with the same care and tradition that has guided the farm since 1857.

  • Scrumpy Ewe Cider

    20min from Wayward

If you’ve been to Wayward Lane, you know the only thing we have on draft besides our beer is Scrumpy Ewe Cider. Ryan is a good friend of the Wayward team, and his tasting room is right on the property where he grows all his apples and keeps his sheep. Watch out for the geese!
